How to Jopo

…I think we don’t know yet.
But: we already know a little bit. Going Jopo is a very different way of travelling.
First of all: It is much more cruising and relaxed exploring of the area:

And than of course it is much faster than walking:

The main advantage of cycling compared to public transport is, that we can stop where ever we like. And we can also go to places, where public transport doesn’t go.
Special about the Jopos is, that they are easily put on, in or under a bus. So we can travel longer distances faster and get to see more different places/countries.

On our first longer bit, between Cahuita and Manzanillo, we got ourselfes more familiar with the Jopos. The backpacks are standing on the rack, right behind the saddle, Hennas camerabag we put to her steering wheel.

For repair we have each one spare tyre, one tube and 8 spokes with us. The spokes and the tyres we have attached to the bikes.
Beyond that we have a basic repair kit each and three tools and one pump.
Also we have a 2meter steel cable each to lock the bikes together or to somewhere.
Probably we will learn a lot more about how to- and also how not to Jopo in the next couple of month.
