… probably not for the last time. We are cruising down the coast. The sun is almost as high as it can be and without the cooling breeze while cycling, we would have to stay in the shadow.
To the right are steep slopes overgrown with dense vegetation. We hear animals and see movement.

The street is mostly good, though potholes might be 50cm deep. Proper craters. And than there are bits of road that are very muddy and we know deep inside that this is probably nothing to what we will have to cope with later on.
We are having siesta now in Puerto Viejo and I make use of the facilities (internet).
Soon we will keep on going to Manzanillo. F..k it’s so hot and humid here..
Wow, you really offer a lot of reasons to be jealous! Cycling at the Caribbean…
At least I’m in the happy position of having been at the shores of Cahuita and on the cycling track around Pto. Viejo towards Manzanillo myself, too.
